It's time for Liam's semi-annual bronchoscopy, and as you can see by the photo he's a lot more awake than his daddy is at 6 in the morning.
Well, I was hoping to get a post done in the waiting room, but in the time that it took for me to go get Karin and I a cup of coffee and to write that first sentence the surgeon has already come to tell us that she was done. Liam did great, as usual, and the three of us are currently waiting in recovery for the anesthesia to wear off before escaping this place.
We all hate being this close to the Picu and although it would be nice to visit and say hi to some of our friends who work there, it's much more important to get the heck out of here as soon as possible. Karin can say hi to most of them on facebook anyway.
Anyway, Bronch is done and things look good. Liam's airway continues to grow stronger and stronger. We'll order a new trach that is the next size up because my little man just keeps on getting bigger and bigger. But its nice to have that checked off the list for now. We'll be back in the spring.
